Friend and former team mate Harrison Davies will be running the London Marathon to help remember Will Wells. Please support if you can.

This Sunday I will be running the London Marathon in aid of the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).

I will be running in memory of Will Wells who sadly passed away in 2021 and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2. Will and I are former Teddington RFC teammates. We played together from the minis right up to the Colts, after which Will continued to play for the University of York.

The JDRF is a charity very close to Will and his family, who have been involved with the charity ever since he was a toddler.

JDRF carries out vital research to find a cure for type 1 diabetes, as well as research into preventing the onset of the condition. They also support those living with type 1 diabetes by researching and providing efficient ways to deliver insulin, making their lives that much easier.

If you would like to read more about type 1 diabetes and the charity itself, you can find the JDRF website here:https://jdrf.org.uk/

If you would like to donate to the JDRF via my JustGiving page, you can follow the link here:

Thanks and good luck for the end of the season!

Harrison Davies
